Don has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He is currently the AVP, National Line Lead of the Corporate Risk Auto team in Aviva Global Corporate and Specialty. Don leads a team ofunderwriters that manage a portfolio of large commercial accounts that include Canadian clients with national and multi-national risk exposures. He has experience in the underwriting of long-haul trucking, public vehicles, government fleets, private and corporate fleets and ride-share operations. Don has participated in various panel discussions and presentations and contributed to published articles on insurance underwriting and fleet risk management. Don is a member of the Ontario Trucking Association, Toronto Transportation Club and is a Board member for the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada. Don has a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Toronto. He also has his CIP and CRM insurance designations. Don is married with two children and one grandchild. He currently resides in Newmarket, Ontario.
