Yves is the Director of Training at UAP, NAPA/NexDrive programs development and emerging technologies
Yves has taught at various college since 1995. In 2000, he began working at the Montreal School Board (EMEMM), where he was a teacher and technical trainer in automotive Technology for 22 years. He is a certified specialist in training on hybrid, electric, and new technology vehicles, he is certified by SAE International for advanced diagnostics of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen vehicles and wrote SAE HEV/ EV safety training course in 2019 (C2001). He continues to be a specialist training for SAE International, notably for the ACAD06 course (Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Engineering Academy).
As a certified master trainer for General Motors and Kia, he has delivered training in many regions of the world, including the Middle East, North America, Africa, and Asia. All of his training courses were delivered in training centers, at dealerships, and in private institutions.
Over the past 20 years, he has developed and produced numerous technical and non-technical training programs for many organizations. In addition, he is responsible for and authored the 635-hour Electric Vehicle special program for the Ministry of Education in 2016, and he wrote and implemented the entire Original EV provincial skills certification program for the Province of Quebec.
