Clément Sabourin is Director of Sustainability and Special Projects at Nationex, one of Canada’s leading parcel delivery companies, where he also oversees operations at the company’s urban depot in Toronto. After a decade as an international reporter with AFP, covering everything from Wall Street finance to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and climate change in the Canadian Arctic, he co-founded Courant Plus in 2019 to help accelerate the ecological transition through zero-emission urban logistics.
Following Nationex’s acquisition of Courant Plus in 2023, Sabourin joined the company to lead its sustainability and innovation efforts. Since then, more than 150 electric cargo bikes, vans, and trucks have been deployed across Ontario and Quebec, including on one of Canada’s first electric freight corridors between Montreal and Quebec City. He also led Nationex’s successful B Corp certification, making it the first Canadian parcel carrier to achieve the designation.
