Kevin McComeau is the Transportation Safety and Compliance Supervisor for Loblaw’s Quebec Division (Provigo). With more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, Kevin began his career as a commercial driver in the early 2000s before advancing through a variety of roles in fleet maintenance, safety, and compliance.

Throughout his career, Kevin has built a reputation for developing strong safety cultures, improving regulatory compliance, and mentoring professional drivers. His hands-on experience across multiple facets of transportation operations gives him a practical perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s fleets.

Kevin played a key role in the introduction of Loblaw’s Class 8 heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) fleet, helping lead the transition to zero-emission transportation. As Loblaw’s official EV driver trainer, he has trained drivers and operational teams on the safe and effective operation of electric trucks while contributing to the continued expansion of the company’s EV fleet. His work has also provided opportunities to speak about the electrification of commercial transportation and share practical insights into the adoption of heavy-duty electric vehicles.
