Lisa Annabel Ellis, Founder and President
She always believed that actions spoke louder than words. So in 2020, Lisa put her philosophy
to the test. She took her knowledge and experience in ESG and left the “talk” culture of big
corporations and boardrooms behind. She went straight into “action” with YellowYellow, her
boutique consulting firm.

At YellowYellow, Lisa’s multi-disciplined team offers the kind of ESG advice and services today’s
businesses really need. The process starts with assessment and design, and then pulls together
all the elements of sustainability, creating specialized strategies that work for individual
businesses. Always, the emphasis is on transparency, good governance and outstanding long-
term performance, because the relationships that Lisa and YellowYellow build with clients are
expected to last.

YellowYellow creates ESG programs that meet the requirements of specific ESG frameworks
and produce the kind of data you need to make informed management decisions.

Lisa has led several initiatives to drive change, from a climate-action project with Environment
and Climate Change Canada to a carbon-pricing project to help a mining company reach its net-
zero goal as well as social impact projects for Indigenous peoples and others. She was a Board
member at the Toronto Botanical Garden, where she contributed to the integration of ESG
initiatives into their $150M expansion plan. Prior to that, she served on the Community Living
Toronto Board.

Credentials
Lisa holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the
Ivey Business School at Western University. She also studied at École des Hautes Études
Commerciales (HEC) as part of an exchange program in Paris, France. She is also a certified
Project Manager Professional (PMP) with a Six Sigma Green Belt and a Fundamentals of
Sustainable Accounting (FSA) Level II Candidate.
