Mark is NFI’s head of Intermodal and is responsible for operations teams across North America. Prior to joining NFI, he spent 15 years at CPKC railway supporting and growing their Intermodal product offering. Mark has a unique perspective on North American railroading and is a passionate advocate for Intermodal within the transportation industry. Mark possesses a deep understanding of railroad operations, sales and IT processes and how Intermodal can benefit shippers. Mark often speaks on the state of the freight market, how to best leverage an Intermodal solution for shippers and the macro trends which affect the mode. Mark graduated from the University of Athabasca with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce before pursuing his Masters at the Schulich School of Business. He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is an active member within supply chain organizations. Mark maintains an advisory board seat at Acess Employment and is the chair of the Intermodal Associations of America’s influential Operations Committee.
