Michael Habouri is the Vice President of Transit, Bus and Fleet – Transportation Systems, at WSP Canada, where he leads national, multidisciplinary teams supporting transit authorities and private fleet operators in planning, design, engineering, systems integration, and delivery of complex transportation and clean mobility programs.
A versatile executive with over 19 years of experience across the automotive, e-mobility, energy, and transportation sectors, Michael brings a strong track record in P&L ownership, strategy, business development, and operational execution, with a focus on scaling sustainable and profitable solutions.
Prior to joining WSP, he held senior leadership roles at Schneider Electric, where he led national mobility strategies, spearheaded the Canadian Electrify Growth Program, and provided leadership for the End User Sales Team. Earlier in his career, he held progressive sales and marketing roles at ABB and Andritz, contributing to major transportation utility, and hydroelectric projects across
Canada and North America.
He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from McGill University, and an MBA in Leadership & Innovation from Edinburgh Napier University.
